Our Prayer
We pray Habbakkuk 2:2 that say “Then the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision, and make it plain on the tables, that he may run that read it”. Lord, our logo represents our promise that we would help the children in fulfilling their purpose for which God has created them to do. We declear “They can do all things through Christ who strengthen them” (Phil 4:13), their special needs will not stop them from fulfilling this purpose.
We stand together and pray with Jesus and say that He did not come to “those who are well and have no need of a physician, but those who are sick”. “Inasmuch as you did to the least of these my brethren, you did it onto me” (Matthew 25:40); and this is our mission that we Lord, may minister on to the least of these in the most loving Christ-centered atmosphere in which all the students will blossom at their own pace be it spiritually, physically and mentally so their individual abilities, gifts and talents will be used for the glory of God.
We pray that whenever a child is diagnosed with a disability, we will be here to say that according to Matthew 8:17 “Jesus Himself took their infirmities and bore their sickness”; therefore they have health and healing now to carry out their purpose here on earth.
We pray Matthew 9:37-38 that says “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest” thank you lord for the related services, teachers, volunteers, and doners who answer the call to help with the harvest.
We pray Hebrews 11:10: "The builder and maker is God" thank you Lord for being our source.
We pray Proverbs 24:3-4 that says “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: and by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches”. Thank you Lord according to II Corinthians 9:8 that says “And God is able to let all grace come to us in abundance so that we always and under all circumstances and whatever the need self-sufficient possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. Thank you Lord (our source) for the vast resources to fund, furnish and supplies all we need in order to complete this vision.
Through the ordered footstep of the Lord, Mrs. Adama Blagrove obeyed the call and stepped on the soil of Montego Bay, Jamaica in 2007 to begin a Center that would minister to children with special needs. As we take up this mantel and vision along with her and run with it, we pray that God would get all the glory and honor out of our lives as well as the lives of the children of the Montego Bay Autism Center in the name of Jesus, Amen.
