ABOUT US
Who We Are?
In 2007, Mrs. Adama Blagrove began an in-home service to answer the cry of a mother with a special needs child. It was at this time she realized, there was no facility in Western Jamaica that catered to the needs of autistic children. Consequently, the Montego Bay Autism Center was established in the year 2010. We offer the training/resource assistance for autistic children, teens, and parents in Jamaica and other Islands.
We are a registered, non-profitable organization and named an Early Childhood Institutions Top 10 Highest Legal Standards Awardee by the Early Childhood Commission.
Mission Statement
To minister to the least of these little ones in the most loving, Christ-centered atmosphere in which all will blossom at their own pace be it spiritually, physically and mentally. To encourage them to use their individual abilities, gifts and talents for the glory of God (Matt. 25: 40), while helping families become outstanding advocates for their children.
Motto
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me” (Phil 4:13)
Our Promise
“To be committed to helping children with special needs.”
